Fla operations

Hey guys, first post for me-after visiting a few farms and learning about this industry I heard about this forum and looked it up last night, this place has so much info etc i stayed up almost all night reading what you guys wrote/giving eachother tips etc..very positive that you guys are so nice and willing to assist eachother, I've never seen an industry as polite as this one. Anyways, I am in my last year in Ag school at UF, and am very interested in this business- I understand that experience is the best teacher, was just curious if there were any Fla operation owners in here. I'm interested in talking about any aspects, breeding, hunting, recreation, etc.. in particular to Fla. I am assuming that since we have a different climate than Michigan for example, that practices commonly used here would be different than those in other states? Again, thank you for any info, and it's very encouraging to read thru other topics and have my questions answered just by reading the ton of answers you all give eachother!

We do have a great community of people here, very willing to help, there is alot of great info on here on breeding and raiseing deer along with good health info, There are a few southern farmers here from Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and i believe someone here is from Fl, I just can't remember their username.
