I had one of my fawns that is about weaned start to show signs of pneumonia last week. There is little chance it was weather related being that is has been about 90 degrees everyday the last 2 weeks, but i am thinking she got milk into her lungs. I am certian it is pneumonia because she sneezed a clump of bright green mucus on me the other day, and then would walk around and cough rondomly. So i immediately went and got some draxxin in her, being it is the most powerful antibiotic i have. I gave her 1 and a half cc's. She seemed to be doing well the lst few days, but last night she was wheezing a little. What would you do, more draxxin? The reason i havent given her more yet is because i was told it is powerful and stays in their system for up to 2 weeks. Any other drugs to follow up with. its still in early stages, i would hope i can get her through this. Thanks

ok, she does look really good today, I do have a bottle of tylan, so i'll give her a little. By the way matt, the pied buck i got from you looks good, he was weaned today, has nice little buttons popping up. How are your fawns?

They are doing great. It seems like alot of people had sick deer last week(mine included). All are good now. You still going to make a trip up?
