hello, i just have a question to see what you guys think about the food plots i put in in june. i am just getting my first couple deer in september and have been hearing alot about bloat and stuff like that. the plots i put in are biologic brand. i have one that is alfalfa and clover and the other is a blend of alfalfa clover turnips chickory and rape. i know this is a question i should of asked before planting but has anyone had any problems with fawns and chickory or rape. just wondering if i should take them out or leave them. thanks

We have chickory, alfalfa, and various clovers in all our pens and all the deer like it. I have rape also in one of my pens and the deer eat it better in cold weather but will nibble at it year round. Same thing with the forage turnips. Once the fawns rumen get started they will eat it fine. Rick
