Great Pyrenees Pups for sale

Mike

I keep mine somewhere in the deer pens all the time. I don't keep him with the bucks when they are in velvet. He can go in with the doe when their fawns are about 2 months old. When the fawns are new born the doe are much more aggressive and will try to thump him. He has done very well in the buck pen when the bucks are in hard antler. We have also kept him in with an aggressive bottle fed breeder buck and doe he was pasture breeding. The dog will not let a bottle fed buck near you. They completely respect the dog even if a doe is closer by in heat. It's interesting you used the word patrol. I wanted Dad to name his pup "Patrol". He liked "Moose". Lol

LOCK HIM UP BEFORE HANDLING DEER ANYWHERE ON YOUR FARM !!!

Mike. I'm pretty sure they stay in the pens 99% of the time. A couple Amish friends have them in with their chickens year round. Funny to go in the hen house and see a bunch of Rhode Island reds laying on/around a great big white dog. Lol
