We moved a buck last Saturday and was in perfect health. Today he is looking sick,he lays around and his ears are drooped. We had nine inches of rain last thursday too:eek:.Could this be shipping fever or could it be from all the rain. If it is shipping fever how can i treat it??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can get him in a chute, I'd give him nuflor, bananine, b12, and a bag of fluids. I wouldn't put him to sleep unless he has alot of energy. Doesn't sound like he does. Might just be pnuemonia. Just my 2 cents

I would try Draxxin if you suspect pneumonia, it stays in their system for a longer time

why guss ??? get a sampl. of his poop and get to your vet ASAP. you can tell them ( vet ) what you think it is so they have some where to start , just my 1 cent,

My guess is with Billie. I lost a yearling a few weeks ago to capture myapathy also. He had drooped ears and some slobbering going on. I think he got tangled in the fence for a bit b/c I has some broken fasteners on a couple consecutive posts.
