Alright, all you guys, it seems you have slipped away and forgot about the forums. I know we had a good time last year, so lets see whats going on this year.

We are having a colder than usual winter so far. Does are getting fat and bucks are stating to shed. Cant wait to see P.J., Rockstar, and my yearlings grow this summer. Nothing really exiting going on, deer season over, still going duck hunting some, but thats about it.

The fish on Texoma are bitting pretty good, just need to get out there and fish. Just about every day Carl is burning deadfall out of the pens getting ready for spring.

Alright you other guys "YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE" lets hear some B.S.

Jay Don

OK JAY !!! OFF SEASON BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS IN SEASON BS BS BS !!! HAD enough of my BS Yet ??? LOL Stay warm !!! Ohio has been on the warm side this year !!!

If anyone is going to participate I suggest you take a look at the post on the jokes thread and then take some time practicing picking up the clean end.

Mitch ...How come you "Off Season BS" is 166% greater than your "In Season BS"

All I know about this "off season" is that i gets pretty boring on the forums. I cant wait for my bucks to shed and start new growth but we all know thats a few months off still. I am really getting depressed now too bc all of the deer seasons are closed so I cant even occupy my time with hunting.

Reed, Deerfarmer has added 15 new members since the Jan. 15 maybe we need a contest like the antler ones to see when this site will hit 1,000 maybe Russell will give the winnner a years membership ? What do you think ?

Any type of contest will bring them ALL out. You will see guys with 2 or 3 post, post on the contest.

Where's Dc, Rusty, Horton, MP, Holly, ZZ, Dc, Hensen, AllenB, Mitch, Sam, WildRivers, just to name a few. Oh, yeah did mention Dc?

Where the hell are you Holly? Still adding up Hardcore's score, or still counting money from the Top 30. LOL

ZZ????????

Come on Goober's

Since you brought up it being boring in here, how about we talk about what we bred to this year?

We have the following:

Hardcore / PA Geronimo

Lexus / PA Geronimo

Amazon / PA Geronmo

Hydro-Ax / Double Down

Still trying to build our doe herd, but we're getting there. This year we'll have a few more to breed that were only fawns this year:

BJ / PA Geronimo

Hydro-Ax / 12 Pak

Gangster / Hightop

Also our Sudden Impact / PA Geronimo and our Hydro-Ax / 12 Pak buck fawns will be growing their first racks. Can't wait to see what they grow.

You guys (and gals) really don't want me to start on the BS stuff cause once I get started I can ramble on for a while.

I will say this...I was sure glad that Mass sent a message last week to Obama! It gave us all a little hope! I don't think he'll listen, but he knows now that nobody, and I mean nobody, not even the people that voted for him have ANY confidence in him!

How many of you out there have does with antlers? I'm not talking about the ones that don't produce fawns but does that are normal in every aspect but also push a little antler? We have 2. One is very proven and the other is going to have her first fawns.

What does everyone think? :D

Reed, some of us have a "real" job. NOT me, but some of us.... I've been over helping Holly add up that score and adding all the money. She needed a lot of extra fingers and toes.

Really just been watching the fence guys finishing up. IT IS DONE....

As far as breeding this year:

Gladiator to: Maxbo/Maxin, Maxin/Big Jake, Maxbo/B.M. Bill, Maxin/Buck Snort

Maxbo XL to: Chance/Maverick, Flees Champ/LY144 ( Primetime mom)

Berrylicious ( Texas ) to: Barry Bonds/Patrick Jr., Highlander/Barry Bonds

Fran ( Texas) to: Thunder/Pat.111, Big Jake/PA Geronimo

Also used Icon 185@ 1, Maxbo Done Right 276@3

I think having a doe that has antlers herself couldnt help but throw great bucks, if bred to some great bucks.Im sure you are breeding them to some of your best stuff.I think we all wish we had one in our groups.I for one think it would be neat to have one and she would be an eye catcher for sure.

Besides using Updraft we used Poncho and Shadow this last fall.

Poncho went into our doe Dolly which is Updraft's mom. NOT to be confused with the Flees Dolly which is Rocky's mom.

Poncho went into our doe Bubbles which is Bucky and Little Pebbles. Bubbles is the womb sister to the doe that sold at the Top 30 for $60,000. Did everyone know Little Pebbles is the full sister to Poncho and O-105?

Shadow went into Grace which is Maxbo and Updraft's grandma on the dam side. Making Grace and Dolly half sisters.

Shadow went into Kelly which is Maxbo and a Flees Butkus/Magnum/Louie doe. Kelly is Max Thrust's (262"@3) womb sister.

Michael, You used Icon in Pearl don't forget. That should be an interesting cross there.

Northern Dancer 196 typ@3(Sundown/William) ,

Roger, thanks... I always forget her. We too used Poncho. We have two does bred to Poncho. One is a Little Boomer/Louie the other is a PJ/Mr Awesome.

Hey Jay, you are right it has been kinda slow here lately. Here in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, it is MUDDY. I spread lime on the MUD. I shovel MUD. I push MUD with the tractor. I sink in the MUD. I slide on the MUD. Then I start over with spreading lime on the MUD again.. Does any body else have this problem:p:D:p:D. . And speaking of DC , I hope he is doing ok I haven't heard anything from him in a couple days. Hope his health is improving. C'mon spring. Allen

Yeah Allen I`m enjoying your same kind of mud !!! Isn`t it fun ??? Come on cold weather !!!

Is there anyone old enough on this thread( besides me) who remembers...when you were in a place or in front of somebody "proper" you would say " bug scuffle" in place of the other words for B*** S***? Like..."What's all this bug scuffle about?"

"Bug Scuffle", Is what we are talking about now.

MP, I would hate to be building fence now. Couldn't you imagin loosing a wrap on some high tinsel wire and it slapping your frozen fingers. EEEEEHHHHHHOOOOWWWW.

DC, Will show up.............maybe.
