Hello everyone. My name is Brian. I live in Cameron, Tx., but origionally from upstate NY. I am brand new to the deer farming thing. I knew as soon as I visited my first deer farm, it was for me. I have my first pen built and am almost done with my permit paperwork. I am starting out slow because of money flow, but hope to work my way up sooner or later. I will most likely be bugging you guys(and ladies) with many many questions.

Howdy Brian, welcome to the deer industry. You will find this site to be a wealth of information. What brings you to the great state of Texas all the way from NY?

Welcome Brian. This is probably one of the best forums you'll find online anywhere. people are here for the most part, to help each others animals and we'll be here to try and help answer your questions as you start up.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I retired from the military in Texas because my exwife was from here. She is really close to her extended family, and I am not. I do miss the beautiful summers and cold winters, and the changing leaves....:)

Anyway, I do look forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully getting this passion turned into a reality.
