In the last year there have been 3 bills introduced into congress to cover more Veterans with Agent Orange related illness. All 3 bills are stuck in committee. If you as Veterans and families of Veterans do not support these bills they will die in committee..



To read the bills (they are all short) go to Washingtonwatch.com. go to the Site Search box type in the number of the bills - read the bills - vote whether you support them or not (right now people visiting the 3 sites are against the bills 70% to 96%).



The number of the bills is:



S1939 The Agent Orange Equity Act of 2009

HR3491 The Thomas G Schubert Agent Orange Fairness Act

HR2254 The Agent Orange Act of 2009



If possible after you have read the bills please contact your congress reps and ask them to get the bills out of committee and vote on them - They need your support this year - maybe now is the time and the Bills are out there ready for our support!!

Thanks for posting this Roger... It's sickening to me to know that there hasn't been more done for my fellow Veterans that have come home with lifelong issues to deal with. Fortunately I came home after serving 7 years with nothing more than some hearing loss from working on jet engines... the price many others have paid could never be repaid by our government, but it sure would be nice to see them ALL have the best care in the country without having to fight (again) for it.
