Hello,
I’m in the early planning and implementation stages of a red deer farm in the northwest. Just in the land prep, paddock design, and fencing install phase, and am starting to put out feelers for my initial herd stock. If anyone knows anyone that is selling red deer hinds next spring (2019) or that would want to help me set up my small herd (5-10 animals) that would be extraordinarily helpful. I’m lost on the actual timing and transport process, so info/advice would help too.
We’re on 20 acres of riverfront in the mountains, and our farm is off grid, so energy is always used creatively.
I’m happy to break into the field in a small scale, and look forward to making the industry proud as a woman/Army veteran owned business.
Thanks for reading!
Amanda
