Anyone have any info on starting a preserve in ky? Im new to the industry and just trying to gain some knowledge. What is the Minimum acres? And what states is ky open to?

Kody, As far as I know there is no minimum acres. Right now the only state Kentucky is open to as far as bring deer into Ky from is Indiana. With Indiana they have to be born in that state. There may be some other things but that is the main one. You can pm me with your number if you want to talk.

Too bad authorities aren't enlightened in some of these states. They should allow deer in from any state where the federal guidelines are followed and folks have five years of CWD monitoring. Kentucky, Michigan, and New York need to look at the recent Missouri decision.
