I was wondering if anyone has or knows of anyone who has some Maxbo Hardcore yearlings? Big, average, or small, it don't matter to me. I just want to know if there are any out there, and how many, and would like to see how they look. I am more interested in the antler configurations on them, and what the doe side of them is.

Thanks for any help.

Roger,

To have any yearlings out there, David would have had to sell the semen out of him as a yearling. I don't think he did. We used him last year when he was 2 years old and have a couple of fawns. I think it will be next year before you see any yearlings. - Sam

Well I'm looking at the 9th annual Top 30 booklet and one of Dave's semen consignments was choice of several bucks which included Hardcore so he must have collected on him if it was an option for the bidders. I know that fall I considered calling to buy some because I thought as a yearling he had "something" going. I'll just have to see if someone contacts me I guess. Thanks Sam.

Oh I'm sure he collected him. I just don't think he sold any. Someone may have gotten a straw or two but most everyone was focused on Kingpin. But you never know.... :)- Sam

Roger, we have two buck fawns out of Hardcore and a Reno doe. They are good size fawns. The word on the street is Hardcore is unreal this year. As it was put to me by a inside source " he is a monster and about 30 inches inside. Don't know yet but I hope to get by there SOON..... And your right he just has a great look and one hellofva pedigree.

we bred to does to Maxbo Hardcore last year unfortunately only one of the 2 had fawns but she had triplets, 2 bucks and 1 doe... We'll see next year and will be breeding with HardCore again this fall

Roger, we went out to see Hardcore last week and all I can say is " OH HELL YAH". He is very very impressive. The ol'man Maxbo is as nice as ever and Pickett isn't far behind them. Hardcore was the star of the show and is ONLY about 27-28 inside spread with great mass and unbelievable tines. I'm sure David will have some pics out on them soon. Just thought you would want to know. It is so nice to have them just 20 miles down the road.

P.S. We bought 5 straws of Hardcore. Time to play lets make a deal on Pearl...lol

Hardcore would be a great choice for her I think. Pebbles 6 times in one pedigree has a good ring to it.:cool::cool:

But I have a doe that already has Pebbles 7 times:D:D:D

Give me a call and we will talk.

P.S. Michael, you might want to save some money for Jan. Laurie and I are starting to talk about what we are offering in the sale.
