Mother Chewing Ears

I have a mother that has chewed both her fawns ears completely down to the base. This has cause an infection in the ears and swelling. Has anyone else dealt with this and is there anything I can put on the ears to stop her from going after them. Tried blue kote and it didn't stop her.

we had a mother that ripped tags out of all fawns and they only way we got her to quit was to get rid of her She also chewed the tails off on her fawns

Might try feeding magnesium oxide. People feed it to hogs to keep them from biting the tails off piglets.

We've had the same problem with a mother chewing tails and we sprayed the tail with iodine to help heal the wound faster and lessen infection.
