We mowed hay down on Saturday, seen a baby fawn left it alone and the momma as of Tuesday hadn't been back to get it. Fawn was really weak and couldn't hold its head up or stand. I have no taken it home, been feeding every 3-4 hours about 6-8ozs perfeeding of red cap vitamin d milk. It's been doing fairly well but still seems weak and wobbly in its hind legs. It does appear to have something wrong with the one front leg as it looks a little swollen but it still uses it. What do you suggest would help it become a little stronger and I know I need to clean its butt every feeding to help it use the restroo.. we use baby wipes and a warm wash cloth. Would it be ok to use baby soap and a warm washcloth and baby soap to wash its bottom better?
