New Doe being picked on

Bought a bred doe that looked great when I got her put her in with 9 others they all chased her around.

She is so stressed she lost a lot of weight and has not shed out all the way.

All the does quit chasing her and she was doing better.

Then she went into labor and the does started chasing her again, Her fawns were smaller so we are bottle feeding them.

And now the other does are leaving her alone again.

She don't act sick at all but what can I do to get weight back on her?

Thanks Mike

Mike, since you pulled her fawns and are bottle feeding them, she most likely will put her weight back on pretty quickly unless the other does start picking on her again. James

Mike, Get her in with your fawns. They will run her off the feeder unless you have a few different places you put your feed in that pen so they can get away from each other. I had to do that once and after her being in the pen with the fawns for awhile and being top dog, She got her confidence back and when she made it back in with the adults she put most of them in their place!

Exactly right!

Purina makes a product called Extreme Energy that is very high fat. You can add it to her feed for a while and it will help put weight on quickly.
