Pedicle stimulation

I've had some of my bucks damage their racks when growing in velvet. Most recover just fine by the next year and you'd never know. I'm talking about injury, enough, that maybe one side only grows to be about HALF as big as the undamaged side.

HOWEVER......one particular buck I have, damaged his left side as a yearling, and now today, still at 4, never really grows out left side. His right side is absolutely beautiful 100" clean typical, tall.....but the left side is probably only about 50" of nothing.

Has anybody had any luck with pedicle stimulation, or something similar to help promote one side to recover?

Unless the actual pedicles are damaged, my first thought would be to a permanent injury to the rump of his right side.

"Contralateral deformity".

No, it wasn't a body injury. When he was a yearling, it was just growing out about 4-5 inches and starting to fork. He broke it about half way up, it folded over and began to fill with blood to about the size of a small nerf football. He was was in a lot of discomfort, and I had to be gone for a few days, so I darted him, cut it off at the break, used blood stop powder, and a little pine tar and he came out fine. He even continued to grow on that damaged side a little bit.

When he sheds the left side, it appears to be a nice, full pedicle, like everybody else. I was just wondering if I could have caused some type of permanent nerve damage.
