I have had several fawns this year with large swollen pouches under their jaws that makes them look like pelicans. I have treated some with pen. and draxxin and in two or three days the swelling was gone. Some I have not treated at all and in two or three days the swelling was gone.
It does not seem to make them sick or interfere with eating. Fawns are from 6 to 10 weeks old. Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this.
