Richard,my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in may.After meeting with doctors in Montana,They said she was at stage 4 and they would just make her comfortable.With no options or hope in Montana we ended up in Carson City ,Nevada with a doctor that uses a treatment called IPT.As of this morning we are at a 50% reduction in the tumor size.Along this jouney we have meet many people that had been given no hope or told to get things in order some were told this 10 years ago.If you need any info feel free to call 406-262-3781.I wish you and your family the best

My wife today decided to quit her current chemo as the pain in her mouth and throat were too much. She has lost about 20 pounds in the last 5 weeks due to not eating..she is going to take a couple weeks off until the dr can come up with a new gameplan..please pray the next step works and is less pain
 
Rich, I am so sorry to hear this....I am not responding to these threads any more except the ones that count....and of course this does......I can promise you ...that you are both in my prayers every night......I pray for Gods favor upon you both......I cant imagine how hard it is to keep the faith in such troubling circumstances ....but I can tell you God has a plan...and if you trust in Jesus and what he has done for the both of you ......you can bet ......better times are ahead!! AMEN! Same for you Greg!! My prayers are often for you as well!! God Bless!
 
Today she got her test results back and her cancer has gotten a lot worse..It is now in her liver and bone marrow and progressing. It is now worse in both lungs also..she has it in both lungs, spine, ribs, hip, neck, chest wall, right arm, hip, ribs, bone marrow, tail bone, breast. Prognosis as we all know is not good..
 
Richard and family , our prayers are with you. Keep your faith as GOD has her in his plans.

Brain scan was done today and she has 3 spots in her brain. Dr said if new chemo works she might get 3 months. If not maybe 1-2 months. Thank you for all the prayers
 
I dont know why. Maybe my box was full?? Still trying to figure the new format
 
Well the dr today told us that her chemo is not responding and there is nothing else they can do. They are giving her blood and the rest will be done by hospice..He said she might have 4 weeks left. 8 weeks would be a miracle
 
Well I brought Judy to the ER this morning. She has been admitted. They had to give her platelets again as they were the lowest ever..she just got them 5 days ago. Also her.antibiotics weren't working and the pneumonia has spread to both lungs now..they have her on a triple antibiotics now that should wipe out anything she has.. They done a scan and said the cancer was worse than last week

.apparently they were a lot worse because the dr was asking her if she had done her last wishes for living..if she wanted to be revived or wanted help breathing or brought back if she died if they could..
 
So Sorry to hear this Richie. I have been following your battle with you here and on facebook.  So Sad!  This cancer has to be beat. I cant figure, with all the stuff we can do in this world, that we cant find a cure for this.   Lost my dad to a form.


Your a good man and have done all you have been expected to do for a wife,lover and friend. Nobody could ever say any words to ease your pain and i cant, myself, ever imagine going through what you and your kids have gone through.

Stories like these are a bold reminder to us all to be greatful for everyone in our lives. Take no one for granted and always let people know how important they are to you.
 
God Bless your family Richard. Its always so tramatic to see this happen to anyone, cancer is such a nasty illness.  My heart goes out to your wife, God bless her soul. We each will face a day when we all must leave these temporary bodies behind, but thank God that our new heavenly bodies are built for eternity!! Richard, you take care and trust the Lord and keep him in your heart, He will re unite you with your wife in his heavenly kingdom someday.


I realize the doctors report gives little hope, but I will still be praying for the Lords miraculous healing to be upon you wife, and I will certainly pray for comfort for you Richard, I know these have been some scary and trying times for you as you stood by your wife's side in this battle she is going through, but I admire your willingness to still come on these forums and update us, I know you trust God, and I thank you for your prayer request for your wife. God hears us and does have a plan!
 
Richard you will be in our thoughts and prayers I know first hand what your going through I lost my wife almost three years ago to breast cancer that spread also have three little ones like yourself keep your head up and stay as positive as you can for her talk to her about all the good times you shared together keep those memories alive for today and tomorrow
 
We are still in the hospital. She had to have platelets again. She just got them 5 days ago.. But the cancer is killing them off very fast. She had a test on her spine and legs today. Results tomorrow. Sucks seeing her in pain and wither away
 
She has gotten worse today. Her breathing is getting labored and I am afraid she doesnt have long
