Poaching at deerfarm

This is an article I copied from the news. Haven't heard any updates yet. I sure hope they catch the guy who did it.

10/24/11 Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the shooting of two whitetail deer from J&C Deer Farms at 68286 CR 29 in New Paris, Indiana. J&C Deer Farms is a privately owned DNR licensed game breeder facility. The incident occurred between the evening hours of Friday, October 21st and 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22nd . A 1 ½ year old breeder buck was found dead in its enclosure with an arrow in it. The deer’s head was removed and taken from the property. The owner reported the deer had ten points on the left half of the antler and the right half had previously been damaged. A second deer was found alive with an arrow stuck in its back. The deer was tranquilized and treated for its injuries. Conservation Officers are asking that anyone with information regarding this senseless act to contact IDNR North Region Enforcement Headquarters at (765) 473-9722.

That too bad, it sounds like some one looking for a set of antlers and thats it. Had this person just been honest and gone up to the farmer and expressed there interest, I am willing to bet they may have even walked away from the farm with a set of their very own. With out having to kill a deer none the less.

Finger print the arrow.

I would be suprised if our DNR would check for fingerprints.

some one will rat them out, or he/they will tell someone and it will get out, might take some time but they will be cault, when they are hang em high,
