Just got back from a road trip. We started out at Nathan Blossers farm. Nathan is one of those guys that has a ton of knowledge when it comes to breeding whitetails. He just keeps doing it over and over. When you go there bring your chin strap. First we were introduced to not one but two monster yearlings. I think he calls them XLT and 747. Trust me you will hear those names again. Both had outside spreads over 30". I won't even guess at the scores but they were huge. Next we saw Grand Canyon "WOW" when a buck can only walk about 30 yards before he has to set his head on the ground to take a break it is "UNREAL".

Then it was off to Darren Deckard's to see Redline and he didn't disappoint. He is still growing strong and is beautiful. He reminds me of Hydroax a lot. I would imagine by the time he's done growing he will be one of the elite two year olds. Congrats Darren. By the way Darren has a really cool early 70's Camaro and the next time I'm there I plan on stealing it.:D

Last but not least it was off to Troy Gann's. Troy has a 3 year old that he is considering taking offers on. My guess is he is going to be around 300" @3. If he was mine that would be a very tough choice. He has put on around 100" each of his first two years and has a very typical look with the total package. I didn't even recognize him from last year. He reminds me of Hardcore a lot. Couldn't of happened to a nicer guy.

I would like to say thanks to those three for their hospitality. Mark will be posting pics and videos of Nathan's and Troy's Deer very soon.

Paul, thanks for the compliments. You guys are welcome anytime. I plan on stopping in to see your place soon. And leave my Camaro alone-thats where I got Redlines name!

Thanks again Darren, we had a great time. Redline is an awsome buck.

Don't worry about that Camaro, I won't let Paul grab it. He doesn't need any more toys right now.

OK guys, I've been getting calls from a lot of people all day about the trip and the videos so here are the links to the video footage we took at Nathan's and at Troy's. Sorry it took so long to get it up, but I'm working on a lot of different stuff right now. Again I want to thank Nathan, Darren, and Troy for the hospitality they showed us and the good times while we were out there.

I'll get the pics up as soon as I can.

Scott I like the slow motion option button while you are watching the videos it helps see the deer a lot better. Troy's buck Rowdy was tough to video from behind. Every time we started to get him, he'd take off. But around 4:15 in slow mo you get a real good look at him. Check out how big he is compared to the does. It gives you a pretty good size reference.

Man, Troy and Scott have been slow playing me. Rowdy is very nice.... Someone needs to teach Scott how to score one. He is way bigger then what he told me. Congrats guys...

And YES I'm very glad that AI didn't work now....

By the way, I have to thank Richard at Apple Creek for helping me get the entire video up there without having to cut it up. Thanks again Richard, it is much better like that.

Will do Reed. We were amazed at the number of big deer Nathan had. The ones on the video are just a few of the big boys he has over there. He seems to do it year after year.
