I dont know if this helps but I have an analysis on extruded soybean I received from the mill

Protein =38%

fat=18%

crude fiber=5.2%

Digestible crude fiber=33.5%

undegradeable protein=19%

I don't if this just applies to just cattle or not

maybe someone else has whole soybean analysis.When we fed a textured feed it had both but now we feed Max-Rax and it simplifies things.

We just had a feed formulated for us and roasted soybeans or soybean meal is significantly more digestable that "green" soy beans. Roasted beans are very expensive and hard to find. We used soybean meal in an extruded pellet because we felt it was better than textured feed. It does not look as "pretty" but each pellet is uniform in it nutrition.

An interesting note that feed labled for "deer" is restrictied by the FDA in the additives it can have. For example we feed Bovatec from March through October which is not allowed in feed labled for deer.

We use roasted soybeans in our feed mix and top dress the bucks feed during growing season with fresh extruded soybean meal. We also give to nursing does on a limited basis because it is very rich and can cause them to get loose.

We use alot of roasted soybeans in our mix for antler growing season.Its about the same nutrients as the extruded posted earlier on this post.Would feed one of the other and stay away from raw soybeans.We are paying around $15 a 50lb bag this year.
