I have to admit to taking a breather on a lot of the campaign news since the primaries, but this seems official now.

What do you all think? Is this the team to unseat the current regime?
 
what I do know is that Ryan is a union killer and if he gets in there too it's going to be a long 4 years. That man has tried to take retirement funds that are totally paid privately away from us. If you find something good about him feel free to share.
 
Paul Ryan is awesome! He is the only person that has put forth a budget that cuts spending and addresses the deficit. He had the guts to take on entitlements like Medicare and social security. He doesn't want to do away with them like the democrats want you to believe, but change them for future generations so there is something for them. The path we are now on will leave them with nothing in the future. He is a down to earth guy that can explain he budget in a way anyone can understand. This election is all about the economy and Paul Ryan is a guy that knows the numbers.
 
Jeff, with all due respect; the government is taking away MY pension dollar by dollar, day by day. Not to mention my rights $@@(**%! Ryan gets my vote.
 
For the record, I was voting for Romney no matter who he chose. I just don't know a ton about Ryan (what I do know aligns with my viewpoints), and wondered if other conservatives felt like this was a good choice to make a strong team- the choice of Palin was devastating.

I can't think of one good reason the current administration should remain in power- not one.
 
Hey...... Obama picked the idiot Biden four years ago and won.....Ryan will crush Biden in the debates and if this country has any brains what so ever we should win this thing easily....and if Obama keeps doing NOTHING like he has since he got in office why in the world would you vote for him......The thing that scares me the most is that there are people out there that actually think Obama deserves another chance....HOW???
 
Correcting myself. I meant to address Chuck and not Jeff. I know the whole nation is hurting, union and non-union. My dollar is worth 40% less today that just a few years ago. I have always known that as spending power but now it's getting close to retirement time and it's looking financially grim. It's time we KILL big government before it chokes us to death first. All I have seen from your President (nope...not mine) is the proverbial slap on the back. BUT I KNOW BETTER. His slap on the back is feeling for a soft spot to put the knife.
 
The boys over on qdma site say this guy is all about qdma and all about lockin the doors of every deer farm in the country. I know dennis says he would not go to that site for the world, Well i say keep your friends close and your enemies closer!! They think this guy is their golden goose!!
 
I hear what your saying Mike and I certainly don't condem you for going on that site.....I personally have no interest in their way of thinking.......so. Have no interest to go on their site.......Ryan is a smart business man.....when he sees the jobs and revenue that the industry brings in he will not interfere.......he will be more focused on creating jobs and new business rather than eliminating them......those bozos on that QDMA site can bark all they want......if they don't get their heads out of their butts and start worrying more about issues like EHD they aren't going to have any Whitetails left to hunt anyhow.....

Generally speaking Ryan was a good choice. Is he Perfect? No. But who is? Certainly not Mitt. Ryan is a well spoken smart gentleman who seems to be a good person. At this point in America Politics which is a new low for us, the only thing you need to member is ABO- Anybody but OBAMA.
 
Will it cost the election? I sure hope not. If it does that is a sad sign to the world that we as a nation have a future of decline and have given up the fight. We are fat, lazy and looking for a free hand out and Obama’s welfare state re-election would prove this. I am very happy with the Republican ticket. Guts, leadership and experience is how I would describe these men. If you love your country and children and next week’s unemployment check, food stamps or welfare check is not more important vote for what is right. Not just what is easy. It’s time to stop this economic train wreck that this very inexperienced president has got us into.
 
Under this guy's new tax plan, Romney with his odd $21Mill/year income would pay LESS than 1% tax... that's right...1%. You sure that's where you think tax cuts should go?
 
If he is reinvesting tht money into businesses or venture capital, yes. The current president is all about punishing the successful person. So do you want managing this country's money, the government or private individuals. The government is spending it faster than they can print it.
 
Where do you think he's reinvesting? Any income on dividends and such would be tax free... that is where Mitt's income comes from, not a payroll check.
