Hello All,
I have a friend that has a rescue buck about six weeks old. The little guy is a very aggressive eater on the bottle. They are currently feeding him three times a day with red cap milk and about a cup of kid replacer per gallon. He had the runs (liquid) last week and I told them to put a little canned pumpkin in with each feeding. His stool has went from runny (liquid) to more like a cow patty. So his stool is headed in the right direction. My question is: Do they keep giving him pumpkin per feeding till it is solid? Or is there anything else we need to tell them to try? Any help will be passed on to my friends with no experience and greatly appreciated!
