Shade Cloth

I didn't start them from seed.  I got them from other established plants and divided them.  If they grow in your area, you would be able to get them at any nursery or even wal-mart.  Bell, Ill look into that variety of sumac.

There is a great place to buy conservation seed near me, I buy almost all of my seed there. They have anything you can think of. Here is a link. Check it out & sign up for their catalog.

I buy  weed barrier 4x 250 roll from greenhouse megastore for 89 dollars. I glue and hot iron one inch on top & bottom and place 3/8 grommets every 4 feet top  bottom. I use 5 ft. iron  pipe and a roll of 4x2 welded fence for 75 dollars. I fasten with plastic 6 inch zip ties. I place 6 feet from the pen to keep coyotes and dogs from spooking the deer. Yes it cost time and money but one dog or coyote can cost a lot more money . Here is a pic in the back ground. High winds have not been a problem when backed up with fencing. Tying to the top of the fence leaves 2 inches open on the bottom to let air thru.

The problem with weed barrier is that is frays and then it can get wrapped up around the head of the animal. The attachment show what shade cloth will do vs ground cover fabric. Shade Cloth is the green fabric and the Ground Cover is the black in the photos
