I like to hunt when the moon is directly overhead. whether it be 7am, noon, or 5pm. I have found deer activity is greatest during this period. There are however a number of factors that can over ride this active feeding period. Things like strong winds,storms,hunting pressure,or even temprature can effect it. With that said I would add that these are not the only times I hunt. I have killed alot of deer when they shouldn't be moving. In the past 30 some years of hunting these magnificant animals I have learned they are very hard to predict and I have never killed one laying on the couch watching a game. Rick
