I am looking at starting to raise Black Buck Antelope and working on my budget.

How much feed should I figure to feed on a daily basis and what would that cost be?

What should I figure for cost for a year combining feeding and medical needs?

I have other questions but still working on what else to ask, thanks in advance for any help provided.

No money in Exotics Buddy !!!!....I bought 10 Males for $300.00 a piece and 10 females for $200.00 each.... at the Exotic Auction in Harper,Texas. People down here won't pay much for a hunt ...maybe the most $1,000. I still have them....I only feed them corn....its really a waste of time and money. If you have a lot of grass they will eat it too....why combine the feed with something else...if they only grow two horns ....won't make a diffrence. I

I agree, protein feeding them is a waste of money. They get just as big eating grass

I get $1000-$1750 for Silver to gold hunts. Not much money in breeding them. Pretty animal though.

I bet it includes Lodging for that price, and depending on the availability where you are located. They are nice Animals...small bodys too ..I mixed them all together where I have my site release Whitetail Deer ,Axis ,and Black Buck. It's really a mess when you want to feed your Whitetail Deer protien and not the others ....I tried putting mesh around it and pretty high too...but they still jump the mesh and some get stuck to the mesh holes cuz there feet don't jump too high. They pretty much drain the feeders.
