After TB testing yesterday woke up to find my Hardcore/big Guy 1 1/2 year old Doe dead:(:(:(:(

Sorry Buddy..Been there,Done that!! Best part on mine was that it was a retest for a false positive after the state used the wrong chart on my herd. They used the bovine chart. Of course after the fact we find out that they knew they used the wrong chart but instead of telling us the screwed up and saying we dont have to retest they wanted to save face and retested her anyway....Tested at 8am...Dead at 1pm!

Sorry to hear that. I am curious when the last positive case of TB or Brucilosis has been found in a whitetail. If it has been years or maybe never, at what point will we push to stop this. Not trying to start a fight, I just feel like we risk our deer, or profits, and our livelihoods for something not needed, plus we have to pay to do this.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Are you going to do a necropsy to find out how she died. Was this the new blood test. We did ours last week and I like putting deer down only once and they all came back negative.

May I ask, how / why would you loose an animal. Is the where you scrape the skin? I am having one of those Great I Forgot Everything Day.
