It is the time of the year for control burning. This will not only provide alot of new growth in the spring but will drastically reduce the ticks. We started burning our woods on a three year rotation several years ago and the number of ticks on our wild deer is almost nil.

Last year I burned my breeder pen and have not seen a tick on my deer all year.

if not spread some crumbles around, cant remember the name at this time. maybe sombody knows.but they work. burning sure helps! Dc i really doubt you got all.

i think there really granules ,spread beforer rain all i know they work good. does that help?Dc

Prescribed burning is a wonderful tool to control pests in the south. Additionally, you can top dress their feed with Ivermectin pour-on at the rate of 12.5ml/100 lbs of feed if during the summer you see a few ticks or lice.
