tranquilizer jab stick

Has anyone ever used a tranquilizer jab stick and blow guns?

If so where would I buy a good one?

I've used a blow gun several times. A problem with them is the "pffftt" noise ya make blowing to launch the dart makes the deer jump and ya miss. Missed one three times in a stall at less than 10 feet, finally got the gun out.

I've hand stuck tame ones with a 1" 18ga needle and a short syringe, up to 1cc or so.

never used a jab stick...

never used a jab stick...

If you shoot peanuts through them to you deer during the year they get to realize the noise with the treat. Then they just stand there at dart time!

Mike i use the jab stick alot and it works great. Give Henry a call he has the 16 and 24 inch i believe.

we use the blow dart when we can on the bottle feds

works good up to a 2cc dart
