I had two fawns born a couple days ago......because of the wet chilly weather i ended up pulling them after about 15 hours with Mom.....anyhow, both fawns have very bad scours....yelllowish and watery....pretty certain it is ecoli........not positive though.......have started treating them with 5 cc's albon orally.....figured i would treat them this way for five days......this is the earliest i have ever had fawns come down with the scours......has anyone ever had this and am i treating it correctly? Please advise........I am gettin about 3 to 4 oz og milk colostrum in them about every 4 hours......any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I would add some Probiotics to what you are already doing - always back an antibiotic up with probiotic.

Dennis, I had the same problem with womb sisters this year. I used Excenel 3/10ths of a cc first day and 2/10cc for the next three days. It can be mixed with milk or injected im or sq. It work very well for me. And like Robbie said use probiotics to reset their gut. Good luck
