As I read all the posts on here lately I see all the arguing on who's is bigger and who's smarter and lets not forget who's heard more. lets all keep in mind that our opposition reads this as well and they can see that this is not a united industry. I certainly read their forums and they don't seem to be divided they still would like to run us out of business. I wonder how the past few weeks of mud slinging looks to them, got to be a better place for it.

With that said "thank-you" to all that are doing so much for our industry

Agree - that is why we suggested the thread at least be moved. Just got my issue of Deer Tracking which is such a good magazine. Useful articles and great observations. Read Shawn's article on the things he has been doing and involved with through NADeFA and thought no one really knows all that is being done for the industry. Appreciate that update from Shawn.

Agree 100% Some know more than others. Great Info. Great Work.

I'm not taking any sides or voiceing much of an opinion anymore until I see something positive in our industry's favor ! I'd still like to see somesort of lawsuit for discrimination of our industry but I'm assuming thats not going to happen so lets see what does happen and God willing it's SOMETHING positive for a change ! I'm real sure all this division between us isn't going to go in our favor or help us in any way so lets unite and see if we can't get something accomplished in lessening all our testings and unfair rulings ! I'm sick of hearing something good will happen when nothing in the last 10 years really has ! Thank you to those that are trying !

True words. The states have the power, The fed rule is their bottom line. They can, will and do go above and way beyond the rule. The states...like ours, need lawsuits in each own state before anyone on their side will take notice.

You know maybe just maybe something good will come from just standing together (now I said TOGETHER) and letting our rule makers know we've had enough ! I know many have gone before our USDA and our DNR's and voiced their opinions in our favor but have we really ever just said enough is enough in a way they will take notice ? Have we ever said if things don't change we'll see you in court or we're drawing the line right here and now and said it to those that would think about it a bit ? I've seen rule after rule , fee after fee been but upon us but I haven't seen much resistance towards those rules and fee's and I've often wondered WHY NOT ? If my dog is willing to sit with little or not effort on my part I might then want him to beg . If he begs for a treat with little to no effort on my part I would probably think it neat if he rolls over for me on command too ! I think we as cervid farmers have learned way to well how to ROLL OVER ! Maybe if we at least growl alittle bit things would change and we won't be made to roll over any longer. I'm in favor of something positive happening here for once and I don't care who or what organization makes that happen but I really feel it's time and we can do anything TOGETHER as a group ! If we are getting some of the state veterinarians in our favor or on our side lets take advantage of this opportunity ! United we prevail , divided we ............well ....roll over some more I guess !! :)

I agree. We've not only learned to roll over but we've done pretty good at playing dead.
