Here's the background:
Last Saturday, I picked up a doe from a gentleman to live breed for him. She's a tame doe and he darted her with a .6 cc of 333mg mixed 4:1. He hit her in the flank and she didn't quite go down so he hit her again with .6cc. We administered 3 cc of Trangle 9 and 1cc of Dectomax and revived at 60 minutes. She was alert with head up before we drove off. I stopped 20 minutes down the road to check on her and she was still upright and normal. 3 Hrs later she came off the trailer fine and everything looked good. The next day I noticed she ran kind of funny. The next day my ranch foreman calls me and says she looks drunk. The next day he says she's laying flat on her left side she can get up but wabbles and immidiately falls flat down on her left side everytime. I had him move her into the barn and called the owner. He asked me to give her 1cc of Draxxin and just watch her, so I did, along with 2cc of B12. She's been in the barn since Tuesday and showed no signs of improvements. In fact she's almost in a paralyzed state. She can move her feet and neck, but always falls back to her left. She can't get on her feet and her left eyes kind of squinty and her right eye looks bugged out with some red pigmentation in the upper part of the white. I've had to set her in a sternal recumbancy position up against the wall on so she doesn't fall over. I've got food and water right of next to her, but I don't think she can really even get her mouth to them becaust it's like she can't move her neck to the right. Strangest thing I've seen, she has no signs of trauma, no mucos around the mouth or eyes. She appears to have some sort of Nerve damage or something becasue she's alert and knows I'm there, but can barely turn her neck to look up at me.
If anyone's seen or heard of anything like this, please post or PM. Thanks.
