Need advice! Have a week old doe fawn just yesterday noticed when she urinates she dribbles some out her navel! If you've had this happen before please advise me what to do. Do I need to call my vet or is this something I can correct myself! Thanks for any & all help. Love deer forums!

We had this happen to one of our fawns this year. We left her alone for the first 3 weeks to see if navel would heal by it self however no luck. Our vet (Countryside) corrected the problem and now our fawn urinates fine. If your vet would like to consult ours please call Apple Creek and we will put you in contact.(920-855-6713)

Thanks Apple Creek! I will do just that! I was thinking the same regarding just watching her the calling the vet, let her grow some and pray! LOL I tel you all I cannot thank everyone enough for being here! I feel so at ease if I have a concern, and seems like no matter what I get a great response fast! Troy Hi and thanks for the advice! Hope my vet has Dr. Wagner's number, I'm hoping I dont have to have it surgically fixed, but as an own daughter of Moose she worth it already keep you posted and thanks for being there! Every ones great!Hope we can chat, just to chat! LOL I love feeding months! Ugh! Thanks gain!
