We have another deer not acting right today. treating her as pneumonia. gave 6cc Nuflor and 2 cc Draxxin. I wish these things could talk lol. She's not breathing hard and she looks ok. When i pulled in she was laying in the snow with her head down. not up and alert. I made her get up and she walked away from me which isn't normal. She is walking very gingerly on all 4 like she trying not to move. We ran her into the barn to put her in the chute and she just layed down as soon as she got inside. Gave her shots and just left her in the barn. She didnt want to go back out in the cold lol

Doe 2 STILL has pus coming out of her leg where we lanced her 2 months ago. We have treated and treated and treated. just gonna let nature take its course and either heal or well....ugh Just at that point

2 bucks STILL have foot rot. It's been 2 months treating them and NO BETTER

Lost 2 bucks to EHD this fall

I would also try about 2cc of banamine in the first doe it will help her feel better when the other meds start kicking in.

Thank you Wayne. I just went to my vet and picked up Banimine for doe #1 and was talking to him about doe #2 since he knows about her from months ago. He showed me a piece of wood that he pulled out of a horse that had the same problem for months. He lanced it and put his finger in there and felt something. He grabbed his hemostats and got a hold of it and pulled it out and it was a piece of wood where the horse ran into a fence post

I will try Dur Pen..it sure can't hurt

We have cleansed with iodine...peroxide..gave her La200...draxin and a few others i'm sure lol

D&T sounds like your taking the right steps but for the foot rot I'd put down copper solfate around your feeders and anywhere your deer tend to be ALLOT ! Let them work it into their feet by mixing it with good ol barn lime and pitting it on the ground ! You can buy copper sulfate at lots of farm supply stores like fleet farms ! It comes in a granular , it's blue and many a dairy farmer uses it for foot baths for cattle ! It also makes a beautiful blue flame when put in the ol camp fire !!  Just a thought !

I bought a 20 tons of gravel to put around the feeders and mucky area...Of course the ground has been frozen since the gravel was dropped off. we did get some down tho. I got a bag of zinc sulphate i believe. We will be putting loads of lime down in the spring. I'll have to try the pretty blue flame one night  Will check out the copper sulfate as well. thank you for your input!!!
