Jack and Jim Whitetail Quest is to serve all. Two weeks before Christmas Quest was hacked by someone from Saudi Arabia. We set up a trap and last week on his second try we caught all his info. Richard has closed all holes and when Christmas vacation is over he will work to restore all info. Trust we are working hard to serve you.

Someone from Saudi Ariabia hacked a deer website??? Wow! That's odd...

Anyway, good luck with the update. It's a great idea.

Just the fact that you guys were able to set up a trap to catch someone hacking your site and capture all their information is beyond my comprehension  That's impressive :)

Scott,

Here is my biggest concern with this whole entire issue. And it's not only my concern, it is the concern of several of my fellow deer farmers in my area. Many of us here in WV are smaller farms. We have done some great things with our bucks, and have grown some amazing animals, but getting any respect in the deer industry is difficult.

Back in September, at the Pennsylvania sale, there was a booth for the Whitetail Buyers Guide. We were given entry forms, and also told that we could register on line, for Whitetail Quest. Everyone was told that the entries would be accepted until the book was full (I beleive it was the first 300 entries, but not 100% sure) Anyways, the next few days, we all registered with Whitetail Quest, so we could get our bucks advertised in the Whitetail Buyers Guide this year. When we registered and submitted our pedigrees, we were with the understanding that we had done what we need to do. I was the first one to submit my entry for my pedigree out of my group. The pedigree's were always visible online, but the photos weren't attached to the pedigree's. After several emails, phone calls, resubmitting the suposed "lost" photos, and approximate 5 to 6 weeks time, my photos were finally attached to my pedigrees. THEN, only a few weeks later, there is an update on the website, and now all the pedigrees of mine and my friends are LOST. It seems to us that all the big names, high profile farms and deer are listed but many of the smaller less noted farms and deer aren't. This is VERY frustrating as well as disappointing. We have done everything that we have been told, requested and asked to do for this. We have been very patient. But 4 months of discouragement is getting old. I know that other farms have inquired about this same issue. I am the outspoken one in our group. We have nothing personal against anyone, we just want to be treated fairly.

Our biggest question, "Are OUR bucks being included in the Whitetail Buyers Guide like we were told that they would be? There are many farms that are expecting this, including myself.

AN UPDATE!!

Thank You Scott, for calling and speaking with my wife. Scott was gracious enough to call and speak with my wife about the issues that we have in question. We understand WHY things have been done in the manner that they have. Scott and Richard have spent the entire Christmas break trying to fix the website that was hacked. Please keep us updated on the progress.

that's because the earth does not tremble when you walk......talk to Jack he'll tell you how that feels

Thank you Curtis for the vote of confidence. I have been telling my wife this very thing for years. She is still reluctant to believe in the power of the Jack !!

Whitetail Quest is back up and running with all of the new security updates. We have added the search by age function along with site statistics.

I will be at the Top 30 sale in Springfield Wednesday-Friday. Stop by our booth if you have any questions or wish to speak to me in person.

Thanks for your patience,.

Service is GREAT! I think Quest is a must for promoting our deer. I suggested to Richard that we need to be able to put our doe pedigrees on quest. He thinks it might be possible. Thanks for all you do.
