I see there is numerous lots to bid on, on whitetail exchange, for WOW. Doe s anybody know if what is bid sets the price or is it final on WE? Thanks Eldon
I also seen those starting to pop up, and i seen that some lots have reserves, if the items are donations why is their a need for a reserve?? Just wondering.
The highest bid online for this item will be used as the STARTING BID at the live auction on April 14th, in Wausau, Wisconsin at the Plaza Hotel & Suites. This means that you CAN BE OUTBID at the live auction.
If you are not outbid at the live auction and you are the high bidder at the end on the online portion of the auction, you WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for payment to Whitetail Exchange. Whitetail Exchange will contact all online winners for payment. If you would like to continue bidding on this item at the live auction, but are unable to attend, you can do a phone-in bid on the day of the live auction. Please contact W.O.W. to set up.
The "Reserve price not met" message you are seeing, is an automatic function built in to the W. E. system. We are "assuming" that the items will all be heading to the benefit. If they are not outbid at the Benefit Auction, then the highest bidder will be awarded the item.
i was high bidder on some semen listed prior to the meeting. i contacted the WOW and received an e-mail reply that i would be contacted and set up to bid by phone during the auction.this never happened, don't know if it was members only or just too much interest and they were overwhelmed?
I am NOT speaking officially for W.O.W. and can only speak as a member who was present during the benefit auction.
Every item that was on a table as a "silent auction" item or that sold during the regular auction that already had a bid obtained via Whitetail Exchange was started at that final W.E. bid. That was actually really nice because there was no dicking around. To start an item they said what it was, what the WE bid was and away went the bidding from there.
Fortunately for W.O.W. the sale went really well and the room had numerous bidders. There really was a lot of activity. I really don't recall if there was any items that sold solely from the W.E. bids during the live auction. There may have been some on the silent auction though.
As a WOW member I want to thank everyone for their support bidding on items.
