I live in iowa 100 miles from the minnesota border. Similar weather. There winter may last a week or 2 longer otherwise we are the same as the southern half of minnesota. I have taken my deer to several farms in La. and have had good success. I also before CWD took all the deer I wanted to sell to texas and the same individual kept coming back for them all till the border closed. You just need to give certain vaccines and other injections along with a few other dos and don'ts to be successful. Good luck
