Thanks for the compliments on the deer.

Roger,

We have 15 Sudden Impact yearlings. I am guessing the smallest will be around 120. We have 9 that will likely go over 150 and 5 that should end up between 170-210. I think the average will be real close to 160. This average is a roughly 40" better than we had been doing with all our yearlings in the past.

Greg

All the deer look great! I like the fact that Sudden Impact is throwing good yearlings, we have a buck fawn that is Sudden Impact / PA Geronimo - Magnus and can't wait to see what he does next year. Magnus is out of Walk's Magnum and Tami, Tami is one of Walk's best does, and a Magnus doe is the mother of Amazon. We have high hopes for him next year. He's our biggest fawn by far and looks great. Next year will be exciting watching grow his first rack.

That's awesome Greg. And they are all wide and long tined to yet. Sudden Impact is putting it on the ground.

Greg, how does W0419 look this year? We used him on our High Spirit doe and she gave twin buck fawns.

Alex,

He looks really good. I don't have a good photo yet. But he is an 8x7 typical with very good mass. Probably 21-22" inside, multiple brows and a 3-4" drop tine near the end of his Right beam.

That's an exciting cross Alex... great breeding bringing it back in. I'll be anxious to see how those boys turn out. Good luck.

Greg....I dont know what to say. The deer you have on your farm are amazing. Keep up the good work and have fun doing it. Great Job!

Greg, do you guys have any big clean typicals this year? maybe something similar to your Willy buck

Don,

The best typicals we have this year would be Slick, Big Guy, and TX Aggie. I don't know that we have any as typical as our Willy buck was. He might have been as typical as you can get for a big buck. It seems as though they all want to get a sticker or two.

Drew,

Thanks for the compliments.

Here are a couple Bam Bam 2 year old sons.

The first buck is one we call Flintstone. His mother is a Bucky daughter.

The 2nd buck is out of a Heavy daughter.

William I am too!

All I ever had from breeding High Spirit was does. Gene bought the first 5 straws and I took the other 5, in Mo the last year the Top 30 was there.

I'll surely show them off when they become big boys.

Here are a few more of the Sudden Impact yearlings that I have not yet posted.
