I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas how to keep water tanks from freezing during the winter months without electricity?  I'm in Wisconsin and as you all know the winters get very cold.  I'm looking for propane or other options that folks may have for keeping my water tanks open during the winter months.

As soon as we get snow cover we are happy to shut down our watering til spring. We break a lot of ice this time of year so we welcome the snow .
