lil freezin rain right now,lookout to the east,what are you seein, down in tx? Be careful Dc
 
Just a little freezing rain and snow DC !!! Isn`t it wonderful ?? It`s better than the mud of last week !! ZZ needs a little snow to get him ready for the nadefa trip up to Ohio !!
 
man the ice is really starting to build up and now they are saying maybe 12 " of snow on friday then the temps are going to hit single digits sure hope to keep our power on

Just starting to freeze down here. We have been burning deadfall for three weeks, looks like if we get any ice, we will be burning more.
 
how well do the deer handle that freezing rain? just got my first few deer in september and here in minnesota we had an ice storm come threw last week and it made me a little nervous.
 
It was warm here in PA , like in the fourties, this week but tonight the temp dropped of majorly, its 16 degrees now, going to get down in the single digits later tonight. Its wouldnt be so bad, if it wasn't for the dang wind.
 
cris i think it the wind gives em heck,not the freezin rain. now freezin rain and wind and better be tough all i can say.! darted for little cough, with nuflor I think he be Ok.little auromiycin in feed helps after rut.saw him cough quit a bit yesteday. with some mucus, not today DC
 
all i know it look it is a winter wonderland, with all the ice and snow lookout it a c,mon Dc
 
I can't help but notice how one imparticular farmer brags about how tough he is in the cold weather. -12 C is 10 F. It sounds easier in F. I wonder if he ever gets those 105 F days with 90% humidity?
 
One things is for sure those northern deer are feeling right at home down here in the south. Why do we always get the good weather when deer season is over? Thats oklahoma for ya!
 
todays high was 16 deg C ( 0 F) it was -30 C last night -25 F our climate is dryer because we are in the center of the continent, our humidity in the summer is usually around 65% temp around 26 C ( 85 F) we do get a few warm spells and get up around 100 F and humidity in the 80's when we get a system that moves up from the central US, the one thing that makes it bearable is that our evenings always cool down to the 60's, last summer was one of the coolest on record then our fall was one of the warmest
 
Okay the storm is over now the sun is out maybe the roads will be okay by monday ? I really hate how quick it will all turn to mud .
 
Aint, seen no sun but i think gonna be lotta mud, lotta wet snow. deer finnaly movin, buck pawin the snow for alfalfa stem cycles! they froze. he will eat anything though.The pine in reach. seem to eat when can reach!!!kina saggin with ice and snow.Dc:eek:
