In the rut.. a deer rubs his antlers against trees ect to mark his territory.. but what if a bottle fed buck was set free, was 4 months old Sept 15. he will be too young to breed or grow even bottons right?

will he be able to fit in so to speak... he has been loose since the first of aug... doing well for now..
 
I say yes.... Maybe not the group you think. He will find his own bunch of girlfriends.
 
Thank you.... I know I am weird .. and a worry wort (and yes a woman...lol) but I rescued this little guy and we have went through a lot ...

A little reasurance is nice sometimes....lol
 
I am right there with you. :) do you see him any longer? Does he come back and forth?
 
yes, he comes off the hill when I go outside and call for him and sometimes if I am just out by the pond.... he still gets a bottle once a day... almost weaned. I had to let him go a little early due to weather but he has done really well. I have 70 acres behind my house and he seems to go all over.
