XCaliber settings

Charlie, you should have received a chart with your xcaliber that shows settings for various dart sizes. I went by the chart then fine-tuned mine, there was very little difference, typed the settings and taped my personal chart to the stock of my xcaliber. If you didn't get a chart you should be able to download one from the Pneu Dart website. It is a terrific weapon and has enabled me to easily make shots that I would never have attempted with my pump rifle.

Charlie, I shoot mostly 1 cc and 1.5 cc darts with mine. I keep my setting at 2.5 for 20 yards with 1 cc, just a bump more if your using 1.5 cc darts and around 3 or 4 for 2 cc. I usually shoot a bump over 5 for 30 yards with 1.5 cc and 2 cc, and about right on 5 for a 1 cc dart at 30 yards. To tell you the truth, I have shot so much, it's to the point I set it at 2.5 then I wait and adjust if they are closer or further than 20 yards, and I actually am to the point I adjust on the fly and don't even pay attention really. I sort of mindlessly adjust. This gun is good, and it is so smooth and easy to adjust. I have all the confidence in the world with this gun, I could never use another type. The furthest shot I ever took with it was about 45 yards at a buddy of mines place, it was in a pen with mostly feilds, very little cover, he had a insane pied doe that he could never get a shot at, she would not come within 40 yards when he had his gun out to dart her. I shot a 2 cc dart, set the gun at 7.5 or 8 and it sailed right in to her hamstring, right where I wanted it. The lowest setting I ever used was probably 1 on a buck that was 5 yards away or less.

I'm needing some feed back on settings / yardage that everyone is using with the rifle. Il be using mainly 1cc darts but 1.5 and 2 also. Thanks for helping me get started. Charlie.
