Fantastic buck, Rod !! I have always liked the look of Rancher. I had talked with you earlier this summer about a couple straws of Rancher. You had quoted me a price. I am still interested, but need to sell some shooters this fall before the having the $. Will you still honor the price quoted to me? I won't say on here what you quoted me, I wouldn't want to obligate you to anything.
J D Reed check out the UDFOM fund raising auction on Whitetail Exchange. there is a pic of Proud Eagle on there. ( Rod donated a straw of Proud Eagle to the Fund raiser). STDF: Rod will come up with a farm price on Rancher semen after he is done growing out That won't be to long now. I believe he is selling 3 straws at the Shipshi auction in September. You may ba able to get a bargain there.

yep Rod considered Blue 33 to be one of his top does. Unfortunetly she died birthing in the spring of 08. Thats the way it seems to go sometimes that death loss seems to hit where you put most of your hopes. I think thats an experience sadly most of us have in common in this industry.

yup sucks indeed but .... In the spring of 07 blue 33 birthed 2 Silverstorm doe fawns and in 08 Rod saved a Big Guy/ Blue 33 Doe and Buck Fawn Rod bred the Silverstorm does to Rancher last fall and of course got all doe fawns. Having a very small operation does have its challenges, but it will all work out in the end right ? Hopefully those does got that Maticondrial good producer thingy. STDF the last straw Rod sold on WE went for $1610
STDF.. That was back on May 20th. So if you've been watching lately you wouldn't have seen it. However Rod is consigning 3 straws of Rancher at the Great Lakes Classic auction tomorrow Friday 09/ 21. I believe he is lot 91 If you can't be there I think you can bid on line, or by phone. It might go for a good (Good for the buyer low) price there. Good Luck!
