Has anyone seen this rash on a fawn before? It is on his ears, around the eyes nose and mouth. We just picked it up from a lady who's dog brought it home about a week ago. She said it already had the large marks on it's forhead and that this rash and bumps started in the last day or two.The raw spot on the ear is where some of the rash rubbed off when I picked him up. She has had it 6 days feeding it goat milk not fawn formula. We will be taking him to a rescuer in a couple days but need to know what this is in case it needs meds now. I have raised a couple fawns with no problems but haven't seen this before. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks , I will try that. I kind of think it may be a allergic reaction to something, maby the goat's milk or something that he was licking in the home he was in??? Not sure, looks a little better today.
That's what I thought but the lady who had him said he hadn't been in any ants while she had him. I think it may be mange and have treated him. He is dooing good.

It looks like mites . Fawns get demodec mites from there mother sometimes, but that's a guess . Jack is right with the ivermectin and I use permethrin spray for around bedding area if it's a mite the permethrin will get rid of them. Again I'm just guess as to it being democratic mites
