Who's really the best "power doe" ?

Ok let me get the easy one out of the way Blue 37 (BJ doe).

Here are some nice combo's.

1. Cisco/Scar

2. Cardinal/Charlie

3. Pat 111/112

4. Freedom does

Levi Weaver's........O-12 and W-2

Flees's......Kristy

Waldvogel....B-37....SUPERDOE

Banshee daughters

Elite doe

Sundance daughters

Just some of my favorites........My problem is I just can pick a favorite order! :D

Y 35 Superdoe has produced 4 sons averaging over 350"+ Rocket, Shadow, Big Jake, and Galore. Superdoe has 7 sons over 250" and a yearling coming out of Rolex. I ask is there really any question who is the #1 power doe? No saying these other does are not great producers but......

PS.. Superdoe is bred to either Maxbo or Sundowner now I believe, and her cell mate is Blue 37, Should be #1 and #2 in my eyes. By the way the last time I was a Billy and Mitzi's they were in the same pen!

AGN Queen and her Daughters... 13 sons 240"-448". 7 of them over 300". Maybe more??

B-37

SuperDoe

Elite

Red-16

In that order!

Eric,I'll have to admit that is production! But Levi Weavers CHARLIE line has produced 35  Breeder Bucks nation wide! That ain't to shabby either buddy!:)

Hands down.... Blue 37

Maximus CR and DT, Encore, SolidCore, Hardcore, Mastbo approx 1800 inches out of the ol' girl

That is some serious bone. No doubt Billy has a " lions den " full of great producers.

Queen has produced a ton of big bucks. One daughter, Queen Alexandria is still fairly young but has produced:

Looking up (290 @ 3), Jackpot(284 @ 2), Bandit(242 @ 3), and Black Magic(305 @3)

NOT A BAD START FOR ONE DOE!

Queen does have proven they will produce with super sires and not so super sires! That is why the Queen line is my pick for the fairest of them all! Everything seems to work with it! I just wish I could buy a straw of Queen! LOL

Curtis,

The sire of Looking up is Maximillion, Jackpot is Balsom Bob, and Black Magic and Bandit were womb brothers out of Avalanche. :)

She producess big frames no matter who she is bred to!

We get absolutely no recognition for it - but I have to say the Jack the ripper does we have produce big time. Mike Nedry's bloodlines go back to Jack as well. Our Jack does have produced our WRW Rex, Buzz, Blue River, Billy Jack, Wild Bill and on and on.

Balsam Bob is out of Spongebob and a Jack doe.

We bred Jack does to Avalanche and had some outstanding yearlings this past fall from that cross as well. Always looking ahead to antler growing season....

BM Bill Daughters are up towrds the top on this ladder. In 2008 10 yealings out of BM Bill daughters, 8 out of the 10 scored over 165", the 10 yearlings averaged 186 1/2" 19" inside.

Of the 10 yearlings two were damaged at 2 years old. The other 8 averaged 248"@2 and 23 1/4" inside.

These are my favorite Power Does, in random order

Holly

Pebbles

Angela

Dan Weaver doe

Patrick 111

Mandy

And as time goes on so will the length of the list...

I nominate "Barbara". She is my herd matriarch and was AI bred to AGN Buddy in November. Oh did I mention she has produced 44 fawns for me over the past 21 years. Yep she is 21 years old and still in excellent health. Her teeth are kinda smooth, but she still eats pelleted food and hay just fine.

Y35 AKA SUPER DOE has 8 sons 2402 inches thats a 300 inch average. She has a rolex buck fawn and i talked with Billy and he said she is bred to maxbo or sundowner.#1 #1 #1.End of story. PS SHE has produced a little income also.

Y35 is no doubt great for production and money in the bank but if I was to pick a power doe that consistantly produced huge sons and more importantly daughters that produced huge sons it would be hands down AGN Queen! Queen and her daughters top 8 sons average 345"-that is unparalleled. The Queen daughters alone top 8 sons that are 3years old and under that average 311". There are some other very good power does out there that don't get recognition cause the top farmers don't own them and the top semen doesn't go in them. When it comes to power does, I like to look at the pedigree and production of the doe rather than the pedigree and production of the man that owns the doe.
