Just wanted to thank Robbie and Brad Peterson and Maggie Saia from Fawn Country Inc. Last week we had the gift of Fawn Country spending a week consulting Apple Creek Whitetails on bottle feeding. The learning that took place will save countless future fawns throughout the deer industry. The Apple Creek team was so impressed by the dedication and commitment to fawn care by Robbie and Maggie. For those of you in Texas who have the opportunity to send your fawns to Robbie and Maggie, consider yourselves fortunate. They are way above the level of pros. From the Apple Creek Team and Family, we cannot thank you enough. The buck fawn that you saved from hypothermia we named, The Fawn Country Gift. And yes, we will donate 10 straws to any educational efforts that you provide in the future. He is a special fawn to us for he had Chief/Angus in him 4 times top and bottom.

Thanks Again enjoy the FC Gift photos

Scott

Scott, and all of the family/team at Apple Creek - we had a blast in UP'er country!!! It was great to visit, get to know you all, and have the honor of meeting FC Gift, and the rest of the fawns to date. (Love the pics of FC helping Dawn and Joe with paperwork!) We hope that Nate forgives us for adding a 2am check to your program! Thanks for the kind words, and please let us know what other info we can "impose" upon your staff! LOL

We got home just in time, a customer brought the first bottle fawn at 8 this morning, and we had our first fawns of the season come in the middle of the rain storm last night, out of a Bam Bam daughter by Malouf's Big Stuff - 2 buck fawns!

Looking forward to regular updates on everyone, 4 & 2 legs!!!!

That's very nice Scott. Robbie, you guys are busy traveling all over the country aren't you? :) That's great though, I know who I'm calling when I have a sick deer. Robbie you know more about deer health than any of these vets around here, that's for sure.

omg, those pictures are so cute! She has a bow in her hair!

(okay, I'll stop now...I'm getting all girly on y'all) :)

...allrighty then..I went back and looked again cuz it was so darn cute...and it's prolly an ear tag instead of a bow <embarrassed myself, I did!
