anybody know where you get a better bottle for the prickert nipples?have looked at my local fleet farm and theres nothing.pop bottles dont hold up to hot water.Saw some apple creek was using on a forum and looked like what I was trying to find.any suggestions out there?

you must not boil them if you do they distort a 20oz bottle turns into a 12oz.Maybe I shouldnt boil.guess im lazy.Just thought there must be something better.thanks for the info

thanks, I thought there had to be something out there and theyre cheaper than pop.should have made them work with a beer bottle.

Wal-mart they have 24oz. bottles that the prichard nipples fit on perfect, There in the cleaning department, they come with a spray nozzle, they are only 99 cents, they have the ozs. marked on them and they are heavy enough plastic they dont melt when boiling, I have been boiling mine for weeks.

thanks all. sorry Suzan I misunderstood what you were telling me,after rereading I saw you were directing me to the sight where you get your bottles.

Everyone uses what works for them and what fits into their budgets.

This year, as well as the last 2, I have used a 15oz lamb bottle from Mid-States Livestock Supplies. I started with prichard--never liked them, nor could get the dang bottles as clean as I wanted (sorry) - and for 2 yrs I used reg baby bottles, but never had luck with the nipple, plus it didn't offer enough milk as my fawns can consume, safely, more than 8/9 oz. These bottle are quite expensive...but work really well for me...and the ladies are quite nice on the phone. (it's non-vac lamb bottle, call 1-800-835-9665...I had problems finding it on-line)

Lisa is dead on these are the best we have ever used not cheap. But well worth the price. We run them thru dishwasher 3 times a day. They are marked by the ounce up to 15. They don't flatten when the fawns suck. We love em!

We use 11 oz Perrier Sparkling Water bottles bought at Wal-Mart (or any other grocery store, I imagine). It costs about $4 for four bottles. They work with the pritchard nipple, are made of glass, are easy to clean, and because of their shape are easy to bottle feed with. We'd highly recommend them! Here is a picture of what they look like . . . both with the label and with us using them (as you can see, our four year old and six yearold daughters are able to hold these bottles well, and so can we). God Bless!
