Where is Max Neiss?

What the heck happened to Max Neiss? Since he's been sold, he's fallen off the face of the earth....seems like.



The couple of straws that I have seen on Whitetail Exchange being sold uses the pictures from when he was 2 years old. I think he is 5 years old this year (if he is even alive) and haven't seen a new picture of him for going on 3 years.



I know I saw a really nice 2 year old from Texas out of him last year and we had a really nice yearling last year that is looking awesome this year.



I thought someone said that SS Whitetails Galore bought him so I emailed them to get an update many many months ago and never got a response back.



I would really like to see what he looks like over the years if anyone can give me information on who to contact, etc.

Susan I too would like to see update on Max Neiss I also purchased 12 straws. You may need to E-mail Eric Pinkston vs Billy. I think Eric handles all the marketing for SS.

Max Neiss Died last year at Billy's due to being gored by another buck. He was real nice. 284" @4. He was real heavy, lots of brows, and good tine length. Billy said he was a Max son, you could tell. He was a little narrower than the years before, but still very impressive.

I too would love to see his pictures. Our 2 year old is really heavy compared to what he was last year. Would be interesting to compare him to Max Neiss.



Just had 2 buck fawns out of him (our buck) out of a Maxbo granddaughter...very excited about them!!

Would you post your 2 and 3 year old photos of Max Neiss? You can also e-mail to Isaac@applecreekwhitetails and he can post for you. Did Billy take photo as record at 4 when he died?

Thanks Todd. That is the picture that I've seen whenever Max Neiss is mentioned. I'm pretty sure that our 2 year old is going to match that this year. Sure would like to see some older pictures too if they are available.



This is how our yearling ended up last year....scored 130" typica with only a couple of inches of stickers at the bases. He is much heavier this year and alot cleaner at the bases. The sticker on the one brow tine was damage last year so his brows are clean too. He is going to be really nice looking.

Where you guys able to get any photos from Eric of Maxneiss??? I didn't see them on this post and was wondering if maybe he emailed them to you.



Let me know if you can. I really would love to have his 2yr and 3yr photos.

Thanks Susan, I called Danny Brand last night to also try to get the photos. He tried for a year to get photo updates with no luck.



Lets keep trying many of us also invested in this deer before Danny sold Max Niess

I will try and find the pics of Max Niess last year. I have my hands full right now, been fighting clostridium and working on Will's Auction stuff. Will try this week to get last years pics. I know I have the 2 and 3 year old pics.

Thanks for the for the offer to help follow up on Max Neiss photos. Also thanks for the post the other day on clostridium. Great to learn from others we battle to be good stewards on our deer. Your information was very helpful.

We have a buck out of Max Neiess, we are located outside of Archer City Texas. I have attached a picture of him. This was taken on June 27, 2010. He still has alot of growing left to do. So far so good. His mother is the womb sister to Eddie Ray's mother. The girls so far have really shined for us. TK Whitetails, Archer City Texas.

Thanks for sharing photo of Max Niess 2 year old son He looks greet. Eric how is the battle with Clostridium? Hope you have under raps. Still would like 2 & 3 year old photos of Max Niess please post or E mail. Here is a picture of Max Niess @3 when he died. If you notice the ear tag is Wh 22 after Max Niess Mother 22 Niess. I thought I had a 2 yr old pic but I can not find it to save my self. I hear there are some real good sons out there. I will post a very large 2 yr old son I have from him.
