Our Bucky passed away yesterday at the age of 14 1/2. Even though Bucky outlived everyones expectations and we knew this day could come anytime it was definately a sad day on the Flees farm.
Bucky was one of those rare bucks that will forever leave his mark on the whitetail industry. He was one of the first bucks to ever reach the 300"B&C mark when he did it in 2002. He would end up doing this 4 years in a row. With a 34+ inside spread, heavy mass, long beams and drop tines he was definately one of the prettiest big bucks to ever live.
Bucky will also go down as one of the greatest breeder bucks of all time. He started breeding for us in 1997 as a yearling and bred every year since. We are fortunate to have a ton of giant sons as well as great daughters from Bucky. Not only was Bucky an incredible producer for us. Bucky, thru semen has made an incredible impact in herds throughout the country. Every year people have been sending me photos of their huge Bucky sons and grandsons.
