Sorry to hear of Bucky's passing. He and his offspring will certainly be spoken of for many years to come! He lived an amazing life in your care...

Truly one of the greatest bucks of all time Bucky has produced through sons, daughters and grand daughters. Just the latest of a long line of examples of this is Cardiac Kid who is out of a grand daughter of Bucky's.

Every summer my visits to the Flees farm had to begin with a peak at the big boy himself. A true living legend he was and it was always a pleasure to see him.

I just happen to have been over to the Flees farm yesterday and it was clear how impacted the family is by the loss.

14 1/2 years of age shows how well taken care of this breeder buck was. In an industry where we all look for the next hot thing to come along it is nice to see we don't lose touch with where it all began.

R.I.P. Bucky

WHY DONT WE ( deer farmers ) have a hall of fame for the people & deer who have made this happen ?????? mabe ever year people & deer can be voted in ? mabe like 5 a year this could happen at the NADFA SHOW, I THINK WE OWE IT TO THEM ,both the deer and the people,

I just heard of this news the other day. I was only able to see Bucky once and it was when he was a couple of years past his prime. Bucky even past his prime was one of those rare animals that looked incredible at 30 yards as well as 300. My condolences to the Flees family on the loss of their trademark buck. I too have a 14 1/2 yr. old buck and do not look forward to the day he is gone, but it is inevitable.

Sorry to here that about Bucky I like the look that he had. I would have love to put some of hem in my does. I think the hall of fame is good idea and the Flees family needs to be on top of the list.
