Laurie and I would again like to thank everyone VERY VERY much for their bids on our lots during this years Top 30 sale, and congrats to George Cagle for winning the X-Caliber darting rifle from the drawing we sponsored. Also thank you to Kevin Grace and his team for putting on another great show.

It was awesome seeing and talking with everyone during the show! Thanks to all of our friends for making it a great time!

roger over all of what you have seen at the top 30, do you things getting better ???? how were prices???? were people spending ?

I have not sat down and really analyzed the results of the whole sale yet, but yes Crocket I do think overall things are better this year than last year. There still were a number of bargains to be had by the buyers though as well.

I felt that a couple of our lots sold on the soft side, but I also did better on a couple of them than what I expected also. I had a dollar amount in my mind I hoped we would make and we did meet that number so I am pleased with how the sale went for our farm.

More importantly Laurie and I enjoyed hanging out a visiting with the many friends we have made over the years by going to these shows.

Laurie and I have had talks with Cola Blanca/Mingo Creek and we have agreed to start a partnership of sorts together. More information will be coming later, but for now we are very excited about how this new partnership will expand our presence further towards the south.

Today I was looking through the sale book for the coming Buckeye auction and I would like to just say a little about our lot in this sale.

Lot #70 on page 48.

Apparently it will be the last lot sold on Friday the 28th.

Sierra is a bottle fed 2009 doe and is LIVE bred to Downdraft 225 7/8"@3 with a 25" inside spread.

Sierra is a Max Thrust 262"@3 daughter. Sierra's mother Kasey is a Ringer daughter. Ringer was a beautiful 6x6 scoring 166 6/8"@2 with a 21 2/8" inside spread. He unfortunately died so we have no other information about him. Ringer is a Bucky Jr. son out of F2/Y0048 making Sierra a double bred F2/Y0048 doe. F2 is the dam to Max Thrust 262"@3. Sierra carries a strong 6x6 mainframe in her genetics. The anchor doe is a WRW Jack The Ripper doe.

The fawns will have an unbelievable amount of Pebbles and Poncho built into them.

Pebbles 7 times.

Poncho 6 times.

Bucky 3 times.

and Bucky Jr and F2/Y0048 each 2 times.

All this while using Maxbo as the outcross.

There is a very low reserve on this animal and I doubt it will come into play during the sale so feel free to bid.

Laurie and I thank you all for looking:)

Of sorts??? I think you GIVING us your two Poncho daughters was a very nice gesture.

As Roger stated, we are doing a partnership with Independence Ranch. As time goes we will realease more information on the new programs we will be rolling out together. Thanks again to you both for your help, thoughts and friendship. We are ready to take it to a new level for both farms.

Michael you are a true character that is FOR SURE. Give you those Poncho girls, when heck freezes over!:p:p:p

Laurie and I are very excited about what is all coming for both Mingo Creek and Independence Ranch.

There are 2 sales closely spaced coming up soon and I want to be sure I have answered any possible questions anyone has about each lot offered, and I also want to give both sales some time on this discussion thread.

Below is the next sale and the single lot offered in that sale. I will post additional info later about the following 2 lots offered in the next sale very soon.

Our 2 lots in the coming Midwest Select sale are Addie and Kelly.

Thank you to Eric and Jerry for having us in this years sale.

Addie is a 2001 bottle fed doe of pure Flees breeding. She has had at least 2 sons over 200" making her a proven producer. In 2010 Addie's son had a 8x6 mainframe plus a flyer off the backside and scored 212" @ 3. Anyone who has studied the Flees genetics knows the strength of the Louie/Little Boomer combination. It is no wonder that Addie has produced sons over 200". We actually acquired Addie this past fall for the express purpose of making this cross so as to offer it for sale in this auction.

Addie was LIVE bred to Downdraft 225 7/8" @ 3 in 2010.

Kelly is a 2006 bottle fed doe who has a real taste for raw unsalted peanuts. Kelly unfortunately lost her buck fawns and has no sons alive so I am not able to show her production ability to you. Kelly is the womb sister to Max Thrust 262" @ 3. Max Thrust is showing his passdown ability with the sons he has produced so far. Long tines, great mass, and 6x5 and better frames on his yearlings and 2 year olds.

There are plenty of Maxbo daughters out there, but not all of them come from pure Flees does like Kelly does. I can offer Kelly for sale because I have a daughter from her and Big Guy already.

Kelly is LIVE bred to Updraft 317 6/8" @ 3 in 2010.

Both of these does would make great additions to any herd. Laurie and I look forward to doing business with whoever decides to invest in our lots offered above.

Our farm is built on great genetics, and our #1 desire is to provide the very best in "after the sale" support to our valued investors.

Laurie and I again, and as always, THANK EVERYONE for looking:)

This ad will be running in the coming Deer Breeder Gazette.

I made this ad myself while en-route from Bahrain to Hong Kong the other day. A guy has to do something to stay awake;)

I am not sure why some of the text looks blurry when I post on this forum. It looks good otherwise.

Thanks Randy.

I added a version with white text to see how it looks and for some reason it looks clearer I think. Not sure why the colors matter.

I like the second version. The white lettering really makes it stand out.

white appears better on the darker back ground...

Looks GREAT Roger,I like the white one better also:). And if you need some more stay awake fuel the next time you travel..........make me one ol buddy!:):D:)
